RoadID: Say No to Jane Doe!

Thousands of athletes run, bike, and swim each day. While we train like champions, often we forget about safety. I know many runners who do not run with their phone or any form of identification. While we hope nothing happens during a run, there is always the possibility.

RoadID (www.roadid) has many identification products for athletes and anyone else who wants to Say No to Jane Doe! Along with providing identification, the bracelets also have medical information that can be crucial in saving lives. I had an opportunity to test the Wrist ID Elite bracelet. It is my second RoadID, I also have the classic Wrist ID. The Wrist ID Elite is customizable and has 3 faceplate and clasps and 10 different wrist bands to choose from. All the parts are customizable, which gives you millions of possibilities to be safe and stylish. I chose the black edition for my faceplate and clasp and a purple band.

The faceplate has my name, my city of residence, two emergency contacts, my allergy/medical info, and my favorite inspiration message (Hills Build Character).

The bracelet arrives in a tin case with the full size band, clasp, and the name plate. The band has to be cut to size to fit your wrist. RoadID has videos that provide instruction on cutting the band so that it fits properly. It is recommended that you carefully cut the band twice so that it is not too short. If you accidently cut the band too short, then it will be unusable. Thankfully I cut the bracelet correctly for the perfect fit.

The bracelet fits fine and I love the color. The bracelet has survived my sweaty runs and does not look dirty. I am wearing it for all my runs and gym workouts. I do plan to purchase more bands for more color choices.

I highly recommend that everyone own a RoadID to assist first responders in the event of an emergency. Click here to save $5 on your order.
