I am a planner. I like to choose my races sometimes a year in advance. Summer racing runs from June to August. In GA, it is the hottest part of the year. I usually don't sign up for many races due to the intense heat. This summer I plan to run the Peachtree Road Race. I might run the Hotlanta 5k, but I highly doubt it.

Thankfully my leg and knee are back to normal so I plan to get up at dark o'thirty and run this summer in pursuit of a sub 2 hr race in Detroit in October. Wish me well.
