Today's Memory Monday is dedicated to the 2018 Hot Chocolate 15K race. Waking up on race day to torrential downpour set the tone for race day. To add "fun" to the race, it was also a cold day. I revised my role as the Sweeper for the race, which meant I could not finish the race before 2:19:00. My friend Maryjane Carter also hung out with me for my pacing assignment. The hot chocolate was the best part of the race. It was a memory that we always look back on and just laugh. We survived and earned our medals.
