After 11 weeks of training for the Peachtree Road Race, we ran our last run on June 25. Our last training day was also the warmest. The heats, hills, and humidity were all awake during our run. The great part of the route was that we had a chance to run through sprinklers twice during our 8 mile run.
My training group who started at the beginning of training running 3:1 intervals, ran the first 4 miles of the route. They were the most amazing group of runners who worked each week to improve their mileage and endurance. I am beyond proud of them. I am looking forward to the Peachtree Road Race and pray the heat and humidity go on vacation for the race.
