Week 3 of marathon training started with my weekly runs with the Big Peach on Tuesday and Thursday (3 miles each) and ended with the beginning of the Atlanta Track Club marathon training program on Saturday. While I am not a run lead for marathon training, I opted for 5/10k training, I decided to lead the 11 min/mile interval group for 10 miles. This worked out perfect for me since I was able just knock the mileage out on Saturday, rather than on Sunday. Wednesday and Sundays were focused on yoga to rest and stretch my body. To complete my training, I alternate between strength training for my arm and legs during the week (~20 min for training).
Now that week 3 is wrap, it's on to week 4.
