Chicago Marathon training is in full swing and it is hot. As I blogged earlier, I am using a Runner's World marathon training plan. The weekly runs have been fine, but I am struggling with the long runs on the weekends due to the heat. My plan for now is to complete as much of the mileage as possible as I work on my endurance and running interval until the weather breaks. I am also being more intentional on my nutrition. I am on to Week 4 starting today. Hopefully the heat and humidity will take a break so I can get my 10 miles in on Saturday.
