The Road to Savannah
Karon Holmes (my running buddy) and I are on the road to Savannah for the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon. While Savannah is a 4 hour trip, the road to Savannah started about 4 months ago. Last year, I signed up to run the Atlanta Marathon to fufill my goal of running a marathon. In summer 2014, the Atlanta Track Club cancelled the Atlanta Marathon and gave us the option to transfer our registration to Silver Comet or Savannah Rock 'n'Rock Marathon.
My friends know that I do not like to travel for races, but to run the Savannah Rock 'n' Roll for $60.00 was steal. What's even better, I suckered (or convinced) Karon to run too.
