Marathoner's Poem

Marathoner's Poem (by Dr. Samantha Andrews) <<Clutch your bib as you read>>

The night before the marathon and all through the hotel My brain is wondering if it is too late to bail The shoes were chosen from Brooks with care In hopes after 26.2 miles, my toenails would still be there With my vaseline, gatorade, and sweaty band for Blue I will look for the Marathonfoto people so my best smile comes through To the finish as I run, I will be delighted to see Many smiling faces, a shiny medal, and a glass of cold sweet tea!

Best wishes Savannah Rock 'n' Roll runners
