Today is my birthday (woo hoo) and I came out to Big Peach to eat cake with the Decatur BGR runners. I am still dealing with a sore right Achilles tendon and I am taking two weeks off to heal, so no running for me. While everyone was preparing to take off, one of the Big Peach Decatur employees told me that Fox 5 was stopping by to interview a BGR representative about running in the cold. As the group run leader for Decatur I was given the opportunity to speak to the newscaster. Overall it was fun and I can't wait to get back on the pavement once my heel heals.
