This year's Peachtree Road race was one I will never forget. It rained the whole race and at mile 4 I saw lightening. The lightening caused the race to be delayed for those that were waiting at the start. For the second year in a row, I ran a sub 60 race. I was so afraid that I wouldn't achieve this goal, since all my practice runs were over an hour. Despite the rain and mud at the park, it was an awesome race. I enjoyed and appreciated the all the people who braved the rain to cheer us on. I got my Triple Peach medal and my shirt. I am looking forward to running it next year.
