NYC Marathon Training Week 6


Now that my brain and body have finally recovered from heat from the Alien half it's on to Week 6. I ran my normal two 3 mile weekly runs with Big Peach Decatur and the midweek Atlanta Track Club (ATC) run. The long run for Week 6 was 9 miles, which I ran on Saturday with ATC. We had a change of venue from Midtown to Candler Park. While I have run through Candler Park, I have never really been in the park. The route was normal ATL terrain, but had plenty of beautiful artwork. I felt great after the run and I am continuing to respect my rest days so I can finish this year injury-free. On to week 7...
