This year, it is estimated that over 300,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 22,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer (1, 2). Both statistics are alarming and raise the need for awareness for the diseases. Early detection and treatments can greatly increase a patient's chance of surviving both diseases. Personally, I have family members who have touched by cancer so I understand the toll it take on patients and their love ones.

This month I joined forces with AfterShokz in their campaign to raise funds for breast and ovarian cancer research. For every pair of pink Aftershokz bone conducting headphones that are sold from September 1-October 31, 2016, 25% of the profits will be donated to Bright Pink. Bright Pink is a nonprofit organization that empowers women and raise awareness for breast and ovarian cancer.

Want to help?

1. You can help by purchasing a pair of pink AfterShokz (use code PINK for a free case) and/or donate to Bright Pink.

2. Use the hashtag #awarewithpink for social media and Aftershokz will donate $0.25 for each instance.
