The Humana 5k is a free tune up race to prep for Rock 'n' Roll Savannah. The race is untimed, so there is not pressure at all. Below is my analysis of the race.

Packet Pick Up

The packet pick up was held at Big Peach Brookhaven. Just like Rock 'n' Roll races, everyone had to pick up their own bib. While Town Brookhaven can be busy, pick up was quick and easy. There was no expo, but race items could be purchased from the Big Peach store.

Race Course

This year was a different course than last year. True to the Atlanta terrain, it was very hilly (not surprising at all). Thankfully I have run parts of the course for other races. Even though the race is free, it wasn't very crowded. The organizers offered race free pictures to all the participants.

Bling and After Party

All runners were given a high quality medal for the race. There was plenty of drinks and snack bars after the race.

Well I will be back again next year if the race is available.
