I love virtual runs because you can complete the distance anytime and anywhere and without the hassle of race day prep. This summer I doing two virtual runs and this is the first one in the line up. The NYRR Virtual World Championship is sponsored by the New York Road Runners, the same group that organizes the New York City Marathon. The race is FREE and runs from Aug 16-25, 2019. You and all your running buddies can register here. It is powered by Strava, so download the Strava app (www.strava.com) and get those miles in.

The second virtual run is the ZOOMA Great Lakes virtual 5K race in Sept. ZOOMA has some of the best women-focused races in the country. I haven't had a chance to run a physical race, so the virtual race is the next best thing. I am looking forward to both races!
