Aftershokz headphones are amazing and innovative. They allow you to rock out to your favorite jams while running, walking, or leisurely relaxing. They are innovative in they are bone conducting headphones that allow you listen to your surroundings since they do not fit inside your ears. I have been an avid fan of Aftershokz since I received my first pair a few years ago. I currently own the original classic and mini sizes. The newest member of my Aftershokz collection is the Aeropex model.

Aftershokz Aeropex headphones are lightweight with a thin headband. I appreciate that the headband is short and doesn't touch my neck. In the box, the headphones comes with a durable magnetic case, ear plugs, and a charging cable.

The headphones pair to your phone or tablet via bluetooth. Setting up and syncing the headphones with my devices was super simple. I paired them with my Ipad and Samsung Galaxy S9 phone. The controls for power and volume are on the right side of the headphones. The button to answer calls and to start/stop songs is on the left side of the headphones.

I wore headphones during my gym workouts and during my weekly runs. I also wore them during the Savannah Bridge Run Double Pump Challenge 15k. The battery life is great and I barely noticed that they are there. I also like that I can hear what's going on around me, especially when cars are approaching. It can be hard to hear your music when there are loud environmental noise, but that's where the ear plugs come in handy. The earplugs block out excess noise to improve the sound.

Overall, I really like the Aeropex Aftershokz and I am excited to add them to my collection. Being able to hear my music and environmental noise is important and could be a life saver while running.
