Yesterday I had an opportunity to test a pair of HOKAs at a Highland Runners group run. Prior to the run I had heard about the shoes, but I had never tried them. I usually run in Brooks and Mizuno shoes and I am skeptical about adding new shoes to the lineup. The HOKAs didn’t disappoint. They had a great soft cushion and I felt like I was running on a soft pillow. My knees didn't feel the pressure of running the hills along the route (Virginia Highlands is very hilly). I am considering using them for marathon training. I will keep you guys posted if I decide to get them for training for the Dopey Challenge.
