The Buff is back

So, earlier I reviewed a half buff by Buff USA (http://buffusa.com/). I really enjoyed using it for a headband and a sweat grabber. As a BibRave Pro, I also have an opportunity to try the full buff.

When I received the full buff, I immediately fell in love with the color, FL Gator Orange. Ok, so I know that's not the official color, but it didn't hurt that is one my undergraduate al mater’s school colors. It comes in a neatly simple package. Just like the half buff it offers UV protection.

Full vs Half Buff

The first thing I did when I removed the full buff from the package was to compare it to the half buff to get a sense of the difference in size. As shown in the pictures the full buff is a lot larger than the half buff, which means there will be more protection from UV radiation. One thing to note is that is I don’t have any information on its UV radiation protection claims since I am unable to validate that feature.

Sporting the buff

I used the full buff in the same manner as the half, as a headband and sweat grabber. It functioned well for both tasks. I preferred the full buff for wiping sweat because there was more surface area and it didn't get saturated quickly. I worked well as headband and was very stylish.

The Verdict

I really love the full buff. As I continue to train for the Dopey Challenge I will use it as part of my training gear.
