So with my hands raised and eyes closed I will admit that I am a potato chip addict. Not a crazy addict, but I know I eat them too much. One thing I want to work on to improve my running life is my nutrition. Having this as a goal, using the Bulu Box to jump start my journey seemed liked a natural fit. Bulu Box (https://www.bulubox.com/) is a monthly subscription nutrition box. Each month the company sends a box various supplements and health product samples.

Signing up

Signing up the Bulu Box service is really easy. From their website, www.bulubox.com, you first set up an account. This process takes less than 5 minutes. There is an option to sign up using Facebook, which allows a faster sign up. Once I signed up for my 3 month subscription, all I had to do was wait patiently (maybe) for my first box.

I received my first Bulu Box in December 2015 and it is shown it in the picture. It was filled with some delicious snacks and supplements. What's in the box?

My favorite items in the box were the snacks (no surprise).

Erzo Vitamin Biscuit

The Erzo cookies are tasty prenatal cookies that are loaded with vitamins and minerals. They are GMO-free and have 100% whole grains. While I am not pregnant, I still enjoyed the cookies. My nephew did too.

Fru-licious Fru-twists real fruit snacks

This snack was a marriage of fruit roll ups and twizzlers and tasted better than both of them combined. They are GMO and gluten free. This was my favorite item in the box. They were so good, that I wanted more after I ate them all.

Gluten-free brownie

I ate the brownie after a run and it was delicious. I don't have issues with gluten and this brownie didn't disappoint. It was great at killing my hungry after an early morning run and sorta of felt guilt free.

8 hour energy patch

The patch contains natural ingredients that is suppose to give you a boost of energy with sugar. I wore the the patch on my wrist and I am not sure if I felt the enery boost. I like the idea, but I may need more than one patch for an energy boost.

The Shapeology Supplements

I did not take these supplements due to concerns with the ingredients. I have no comments on their effectiveness.

Verdict

I really enjoyed this box. The snacks were great and I would purchase them, especially the strawberry straws. I would pass on the patch, it did not seem to be effective for me. I can't wait for the next box.
