For the past two years, I have worked on maintaining the coolest running wardrobe. If you are going to be burning up the pavement, you might as well look good doing it. As the NYC Marathon quickly nears, I started to wonder about my attire for the race. Do I wear a generic outfit, Atlanta Track Club gear, RunATL gear, or Black Girls Run! gear? The decisions are endless and thankfully I have time to sort it out.
I am alway looking for fashion inspiration and when an opportunity to test a new BUFF® (http://buffusa.com/) was presented, I never imagined that it would be the beginning of a great outfit for the NYC Marathon. While I was scrolling through the various BUFF® products to determine which one I wanted, something about the USA print spoke to me. The USA BUFF®, which is shown in the picture, is perfect for my race for Lady Liberty. I got it during the last week of the Rio Olympics so it awesome to wave it during the closing ceremony.
I am a BUFF® fan and my favorite use for it as a sweat grabber during races. I plan to take my USA print BUFF® with me during my journey to NYC and to the race. I even got a new USA printed Bondiband to wear with my ensemble. Now that my BUFF® and headband are ready, what about the pants and shirts?
The short answer is I am still working on it. I think I will be rocking an outfit that combines representing ATL and patriotism. I did a dress rehearsal and I need to work on my color coordination. Let the inspiration continue.
