Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run Prep

Peer pressure, always a reason to run another run. This year my run buddy liked the new Double Pump medal that she also convinced me to return to the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run for a second year. The medals for this year are pretty large and bling chasing has me back to running over the Talmadge Bridge three times.

The race takes place on December 7 at 8 am at Hutchinson Island. The first race and crossing over the Talmadge Bridge is the 5k race. Once the 5k ends at Montgomery St we will run the 10k. The 10k starts at 9 am and is an out and back course that includes two runs over the Talmadge Bridge twice.

To prep for the race I have been running hill repeats in my neighborhood. Running up the bridge is like running up Piedmont Rd and seems to never end. I hope the weather is great and I am looking forward to a great race.

Online registration ends tonight at 11:59 pm. Register at https://www.savannahbridgerun.com/races.
