In this season of quarantine one blessing of this situation has been the opportunity to run many virtual races. One race I ran was the Hospital Hill Virtual 10k on May 9th. The race was originally scheduled for June 6, but now all the Hospital Hill races are now offered as virtual runs.
Personally I love virtual races. I love the freedom of running in my own neighborhood on my own schedule. I had a great run. The weather was amazing and I ran though the neighborhood surrounding Emory University. I even stopped throughout the run to eat mulberries (my favorite racing activity). I finished the race in 1:16:57.
A few weeks after I finished the run I received my medal, tee shirt, and bib This medal is going to look great in my medal collection. It is definitely an unique addition.
I hope to run the physical race one day. I will love to add Missouri to my 50 state's journey.
