The last Medal Monday of November is dedicated to the America's Turkey Trot Virtual Race. I ran the 5k race last week in Gainesville, FL along a natural trail path. It was a nice run with lots of beautiful scenario. It was also hot, even in November (FL weather is awesome in the summer). My time was pretty good and my pace has been consistent this month.
When I returned home from Thanksgiving break, it turns out I really sign up for the 10k, but that was cool too since I ran a 10k on Thanksgiving. My time was also good for the distance. Yes, it was hot for this race too.
The best part of the race was the jacket, hat, and medal. My race swag arrived before Thanksgiving and was perfect for the cold ATL weather.
