Like most races this spring the DC Wonderwoman Race was converted to a virtual event. Since the swag and medals were the same for the 5k and 10k, I opted for the 5k.
I am currently training for a 10k, so I used one of my training days to run the 5k.
I ran through my neighborhood and ate all the mulberries that I saw along the way. The weather was perfect and my pace was good. I proudly earned my medal.
I hope the race returns to ATL next year and we are able to run the actual course.
