Today's Memory Monday is dedicated the the 2017 International Chicago 5k. Check out my original review here. I ran this race the day before the 2017 Chicago Marathon. This race was amazing and highlighted the global running tribe. It was the first time I could not physically cross the finish line due to all the people taking selfies at the end . Overall, I enjoyed the race and was grateful for the medal and scarf. I know the distance on the picture has the mileage as 2.99 due to the Chicago buildings messing with my watch's GPS tracking.
