Today's Memory Monday is dedicated to the 2019 Super Bowl 5k. 2019 was an exciting year! It was the last year of normal as we knew it and Atlanta was also the host city for the Super Bowl. I was chosen as a volunteer for the Team ATL Super Bowl street team and it was an amazing experience.
The Super Bowl 5k was held on 2/1/19 at Piedmont Park on the Friday prior to the game. It was a cold, a fun run. I finished the race in 33:31 and was awarded a medal. I think they sent out different medals after the race since I ended up with two.
