Today's Memory Monday is dedicated to all the fun runs at the Highland Runners running store in Virginia Highlands. I discovered Highland Runners when I was dropping off flyers for the Hot Chocolate race that I promoted while serving as an ambassador. I usually run with the Big Peach Running Company because they were conveniently located in my neighborhood and they offer amazing service and deals. Highland runners differed in that they would have runs sponsored by restaurants, like the Shake Shack. Those deliciously sponsored runs where worth the 45 minute drive to the store (keep in mind they are only 5 miles from my home-thanks ATL traffic).
Hopefully once normal returns my friends and I can go back and hang out with the Highland Runners crew again.
