November, my beloved birth month, is here! This month brings more virtual races and Thanksgiving. The month I have the following races on deck:
Atlanta Track Club Virtual Peachtree Road Race (10k)
America's Turkey Trot Virtual Race (5k)
Publix Savannah Half Marathon (half marathon)
All the races have to be completed the week of Thanksgiving. This year's Peachtree Road was rescheduled from July 4 to November. I am glad that I will not be outrunning a heat stroke, but I am sad that I will not get to run through sprinklers. I plan to run it probably on the day before Thanksgiving. I have my short that I will wear once the race is over.
The America's Turkey Trot Virtual Race is going to be a fun. I am so excited about the race swag. It will be great race to burn off off a few calories to get ready for the Thanksgiving banana pudding. Registration is open at this link. Check out that medal.
The Publix Savannah Half Marathon was originally schedule for April 2020, but will take place this month. I am on the fence with this race since I already ran a half marathon last month and I want to redeem myself for my initial efforts. If I decide to run another half on 11/14 I will use that time. If I don't, I will use my October time.
