I am excited to return to Savannah for the third year in a row to run the 2020 Savannah Bridge Run on December 5. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the race and I am grateful to be part of this celebration. I am continuing my legacy of running the Double Pump 15k race, which consists of two races (5K and 10K) and three trips over the Talmadge Bridge.
The 5K race is first and starts at the Savannah Convention Center and runners travel over the Talmadge Bridge to the Civic Center in Downtown Savannah. Runners who are only running the 5K will end their journey at finish line and will be transported back to the start by the race transportation.
The Double Pump runners and 10K participants will start at the Civic Center in downtown and run across the Talmadge Bridge to the Savannah Convention Center. At the convention center, runners will loop around and head back over to the Talmadge bridge to return to the Civic Center.
I am looking forward to earning my medal and celebrating with the other runners.
